About Me

Over the years I have been asked many times to put together in one place my beer walks in the UK and further afield. I did think about publishing a book about them but that could go out of date very quickly in today’s economic climate.

So here we are with a new website dedicated to the best beers walks I have personally done and recommend. New walks take time to research and test so don’t expect things to change regularly.

I have an interest in the history of the public house and related architecture. The sense of history about a place can also affect the way public houses work, change and close. This website brings together Public Houses, some more significant than others, with a local history tour.
